Software Implementation Solutions of A Lightweight Block Cipher to Secure Restricted IoT Environment: A Review

With the development of Internet Things (IoT) technology, IoT devices are integrated into many our daily lives, including industrial, security, medical, and personal applications. Many violations safety have appeared due to critical physical infrastructure, network vulnerabilities. Considering nature restricted limited resources these in terms size, capacity, energy, Security is becoming increasingly important. Lightweight cryptography one directions that offer security solutions resource-constrained environments such as Radio-frequency identification (RFID) wireless sensor (WSN).This paper discusses issues reviews most prominent Bock Cipher suitable for software implementation. Through studying thespecifications inner structure each cipher their implementation performance evaluation on some kind platform, we provide a design strategies guideline cryptographic developers improved Block compact environments.
